CHARACTER INFO.
NAME: Touya Kinomoto
CANON: CardCaptor Sakura
AGE: 19
APPEARANCE: This jerk here. In the canon I'm going with, he is described to have black hair and blue eyes, as opposed to his anime adaptation dye job.
CANON POINT: Beginning of Clear Card Arc

BACKGROUND:
Wow, the Wiki is terrible. I'll just write, thanks. (I am going with manga canon. Any additional interactions or input from the anime will not be here. Additionally, this will be updated after further development of the Clear Card Arc.)
In the Cardcaptor Sakura universe, he is the brother of the main character. While Sakura has magic to regain cards that she lost from a book, the Clow, in her basement, Touya thrives on teasing her. He presently lives with his father, Fujitaka, who is an Archaeologist Professor, and sister, Sakura, while the mother, Nadeshiko, is deceased. Nadeshiko died when Touya was ten years old. They all share chores, such as cooking and cleaning.
Growing up, and up until recent events, Touya could see spirits and would often use this ability to tease Sakura, telling her the horrible things he could see to the point that Sakura would cry. He has seen and spoken with his mother "up until recently" (and even once or twice during the series).
Even though Touya is seen frequently teasing Sakura through the series, he is also a huge part her protector. He takes up several part time jobs throughout the series in different locations that he says are to be able to pay for college. However, it is noted that the true motivations for his part time job locations are due to his sixth sense, and to protect his sister from any dangers if it is needed.
Touya has highly developed spiritual and shamanic powers throughout the first two manga series.
He went to Seijyo High School, starting the series in his sophomore year. The school is quite literally beside Tomoeda Elementary, where Sakura attends. Uniforms of black pants, white, usually short-sleeve, button up shirt with a tie are required, often seen with a blue blazer.
It is later revealed that Touya had a relationship in the past with a teacher, Kaho Mizuki, who is also a priestess. They met in similar fashion as Kaho met Sakura, through chance and Kaho's fortune telling skill. She promised she would 'see him tomorrow'. And she just 'knew' she was going to be his teacher. They broke up when she went to study abroad, and suddenly so. Touya felt deceived, while Kaho claimed it was so she could get close to Touya that she didn't tell him. And Touya is still pained when he recalls it. In fact, Kaho's return as Sakura's teacher catches him completely off guard, something not easily accomplished. However, he easily trust Kaho, possibly due to his sixth sense.
Kaho later calls him out for knowing all along about Kero and Yue, and about how nice he is to non-humans "as always."
When "Nakuru" transfers to Touya's school, she clings to him constantly, making him exhausted from fending her off. However, Nakuru is really Ruby Moon and is trying to take Touya's magic and affection for herself.
Several times throughout the Sakura Card Arc, he tries to confess his feelings to Yukito, but something always interrupts him (Usually Ruby Moon/Nakuru). He tells Yukito that he will not allow him to disappear, proving that he knows Yue's secret, but is interrupted again. He also seems to be aware that Yukito is not aware of his other, true form.
Touya has a capability to detect when something is not right, including when and where Sakura will be when she's in danger, and arranging himself to be there as well, usually done by taking on another part time job. He can tell that Mirror is not his sister, even though it looks exactly like her. He even confides in the Mirror Card that he knows something is up, and asks Mirror not to reveal that to Sakura. Or when he firsts sees Eriol, he senses a connection to his father.
In a moment of fearing that he won't get another chance, he finally forces Nakuru to leave him alone and he tells Yukito that he knows he isn't human. It is revealed that Yukito views Touya as special to him (a.k.a. romantically). At that time, in order to stop Yukito from disappearing, he tells Yue to take all of his spiritual power. He's told he won't be able to see his mother anymore, to which Touya responds, "It's not fair if only I can see her." However, if Touya no longer has his power, he won't be able to sense when Sakura is in danger, and he makes Yue promise to take care of Sakura in his place.
Afterwards, Touya passes out from giving Yue his magic. When he wakes up again, Yukito acknowledges that he isn't human and how everything up to that point seems to have been not real. Touya tells him that since he met him, everything has been 100% real.
Touya takes time to recover after losing his magic, that even when he is finally able to walk around, he feels woozy and is barely responsive. With his spiritual powers completely gone, he seems more worn out and is able to be startled much more easily. Yukito notices this and mentions how Touya used to always know when someone was near, but because Touya gave him his power, he isn't able to do that anymore. Touya explains that, if he himself were about to die of hunger, what would Yukito do with his lunch? Of course, the answer was give it all to Touya. And Touya says that's how he felt giving up his powers, to save Yukito. And if Yukito keeps feeling sorry, he'll get mad.
Yukito acknowledges his other self and is happy that he got to meet everyone, especially Touya. And Touya knew that since the day he met Syaoran that Syaoran would confess his love to Sakura. He dislikes Syaoran because he knows that it is Sakura's destiny to fall in love with him. In the end, Touya gives Sakura a ride on his motorcycle so she can give her gift to Syaoran in time before he leaves.

PERSONALITY:
Touya is visibly stated as a particularly shy sort of person. The strong, silent type that will go out of his way to willingly help people. This can sometimes give him a slightly intimidating, stoic appearance, due to hardly smiling and not speaking often. When he does speak, it is often in the event to express his concern for those involved or to tease his sister, Sakura. Even throughout the series, he gets called out for not opening up as much as he should. Additionally, aside from the constant interruptions provided by the story, it is heavily implied that the primary reason he has been unable to properly express his feelings to Yukito is in fact due to this shyness, being coaxed by Kaho at the end of the Sakura Card Arc to just tell him how he feels. He tends to behave more as a silent protector and has a desire to support his loved ones with all of his ability. He does, however, speak up if offended, and this is done to varying degrees. He can be blunt, such as shown in his intense dislike of Syaoran, but is more likely to be rather polite about it unless given a reason to not be. A polite example is shown with Ruby Moon, who constantly drapes themselves all over him to garner his attention. Although he would sigh and admit he was annoyed, he would politely ask them to remove themselves from him. And he would rather go out of his way to maintain that politeness since, instead of being more firm with Ruby Moon when they wouldn't respect his boundaries, he went out of his way to sidestep his normal routines and avoid them altogether as much as possible.
Touya has also shown that he is very determined, independent, and self-reliant. He doesn't ask for handouts or easy options. When he wanted to save up for a motorcycle or for college, he took up odd jobs (although, the odd jobs also tended to have an ulteteriour motive to be where he was needed to protect Sakura) to save the money himself. Although, it also became slightly contradictory, wherein he is stated to have owned said motorcycle, but he opted not to drive it because he was afraid it would be too dangerous for Sakura to try and follow on her roller skates.
He has a strong preference for taking the background role, and thus shows he cares more through his actions than his words. Whereas, vocally, he's blunt, his actions show the level of care his words do not. Such as in the cases, he will not tease Sakura when she is feeling sick, doing favours for those he cares about without needing to be asked, and even taking control of a situation to come to the aid of others, such as in the event where the Flower Card showed up and created so many flower petals, the children were suffocating, he took control and advised others to reach higher ground. He certainly will not hesitate to take control of a situation when they need a specific direction to go in or just to avoid chaos as much as possible. He is prone to keeping learnt information to himself, respecting secrets and similar knowledges, to the point that he probably should bring it up, but will not unless there is a direct need to do so. Such is shown in the case of Yukito, who was fading because Yue's magic was dissipating. He chose to wait for Yukito to figure it out, since he did not know of his alter ego, instead of telling Yukito the truth about it. If it did, however, come down to it, he would have brought it up in the most dire hour.
In a sense, he has a rather laid-back personality. He is generally understanding and isn't fazed by much. This is particularly due to the fact that he grew up with supernatural abilities that allow him to see and communicate with spirits. He is extremely open to the knowledge and existence of otherworldly beings and has a very open-minded, 'Let me help you,' approach to meeting them. He would often use his ability, outside of tormenting Sakura by describing what he could see, to help spirits move on and find rest. This is especially displayed when he meets the Mirror Card in the guise of his sister. He mistook it as Sakura for only a moment, but ended up thinking Mirror was a spirit that had unfinished business, and he willingly went out of his way to help it find whatever it was looking for and bring it peace to move on, to the point of putting himself in danger. When Sakura uses Mirror to cover for her as she goes to capture another card, Touya is again not fooled, and recognizes Mirror on first sight. At this point, he is able to determine that Sakura had something she really needed to do and, although worried, thought it was better not to question the circumstances of Mirror's presence. Combining this ability with his Sixth Sense, he determines the best course of action that often has him conveniently showing up (usually in the form of taking up an odd job) where his sister is going to be in the most danger, or where he is going to be needed in odd circumstances.
Yukito also consistently calls Touya out for having a sister complex, and this is very likely to be accurate. He has even admitted to the fact that absolutely no one is allowed to pick on Sakura except him, and will instantly make himself known if anyone else even tries. This is also the largest reason that Touya despises Syaoran, is the fact that he knows upon seeing him that he is the one Sakura is destined for, and doesn't want Syaoran to take his sister away from him. He does consistently harass his sister, particularly by calling her monster and baiting her with her feelings for Yukito as a manipulation tactic; although the manipulation is usually minor, such as just to get her to take up an extra chore or two. However, he also does display levels of understanding and support and will sometimes go out of his way to do something particularly nice for her, such as arrange for Yukito to come see her or rushing to get her to see Syaoran off as he leaves to go back to Hong Kong. He constantly worries for, and over, her. This is especially stated when he had to give up his abilities to save Yukito, he asked Yue to watch over Sakura where he would no longer be able to.

ABILITIES:
Jack of all trades: Touya is very apt to pick up whatever suits him at the time. He has done this from multiple jobs, to multiple hobbies. Includes cooking, sports, driving, picking up varied jobs throughout the series. And has shown he is capable in going with whatever he decides to do and use.

Athletic: Touya is very physically able, from fighting, to a wide variety of sports, and even endurance.

The following capabilities are currently inaccessible to him, but may return after updating the Clear Card Arc.

Shamanism: Touya has the ability to see, communicate with, and even enlighten ghosts and spirits. Although he used this ability to tease Sakura growing up, he also makes it a point to help ghosts move on.

Sixth Sense: Touya has strong inclinations of when something is going to happen to the people he cares about, and thus allows him to show up at just the right time to help them from the situation or prevent it altogether.

[Might as well get this over with... Apprehensively, Touya fidgets with the bracelet, trying to ensure it's working properly. Once he seems as satisfied as it's going to get, he looks forward.]

My name is Touya Kinomoto. I... have actually no idea where I'm at. I guess I'm new here, brought in for whatever reason. [Not that he particularly minds. It's just a little inconvenient is all. He looks at his surroundings, trying to figure out a way through wherever he is to a sense of civilisation.] Is there like... a map? Or can someone answer me and lead me through here?

[Being lost is slightly more inconvenient than being dragged to some unknown world for some unknown means. He pans the camera to his surroundings to give some indication of his location. Although it's mostly depth of trees in some kind of forest.]

...A map is better, but I'll take what I can get. Communication is fine, but if anyone actually knows where to find me, I'm fine with waiting, too.

[With a mildly disappointed look, he continues to look around, picking a direction and sticking with it. Perhaps he should make mild conversation until someone answers him.]

Is there a way to communicate with people back home? ....Probably not. But I would rather they didn't have to worry. [An interstellar cell phone would be ideal right now, actually. Although, he supposes he's wearing it.] How do things work here? I mean... I managed to figure out the bracelet for this... video setup. But what else do I need to know? Customs, standards, things to avoid? ...I certainly wouldn't mind some tips and tricks to avoid getting lost again... Ah!

[He looks upfrom the video, heading toward a clearing.] What a lucky break, it seems I've found my way out, after all. [He looks back at the video and nods, wondering if anyone heard him or if he was just rambling to empty space.] Well, I suppose this means I'm signing out, then. Later.

[He fusses a bit with the bracelet again, trying to figure it out once more, and then the feed cuts off.]
